A full tuition fee refund, less the administration fee (CAD$500.00), will be granted if Citizenship and Immigration Canada does not issue the Study Permit. To obtain a refund, the student must provide:
- Copy of the Letter of Rejection from Citizenship and Immigration Canada
- Copy of the North York Academy Official Letter of Acceptance
- Original North York Academy ’s receipt of tuition payment.
There will be no refund of the tuition fee in the following circumstances:
- Any withdrawal for reasons other than the Study Permit has been denied by Citizenship and Immigration Canada is deemed voluntary, and no refund will be issued.
- If false or fraudulent information was given and or not disclosed in the Student Application Form
- If the student is found in violation of North York Academy policies and procedures
- For Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are exempted from requiring a study permit, there will be no refund issued after 15 days of completion of tuition payment.
