A full tuition fee refund, less the administration fee (CAD$500.00), will be granted if Citizenship and Immigration Canada does not issue the Study Permit. To obtain a refund, the student must provide:

  1. Copy of the Letter of Rejection from Citizenship and Immigration Canada
  2. Copy of the North York Academy Official Letter of Acceptance
  3. Original North York Academy ’s receipt of tuition payment.

There will be no refund of the tuition fee in the following circumstances:

  1. Any withdrawal for reasons other than the Study Permit has been denied by Citizenship and Immigration Canada is deemed voluntary, and no refund will be issued.
  2. If false or fraudulent information was given and or not disclosed in the Student Application Form
  3. If the student is found in violation of North York Academy policies and procedures
  4. For Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are exempted from requiring a study permit, there will be no refund issued after 15 days of completion of tuition payment.
